In February 2026, UTG entered into definitive agreements to acquire a 50% ownership interest in the Playboy China business from Playboy, Inc., in a deal valued at $122 million. Under the agreement, UTG will assume responsibility for managing all operational aspects of Playboy’s business in China, Hong Kong, and Macau, positioning the brand for accelerated long-term growth in one of the world’s most dynamic consumer markets.
